The team who established and organises the Meet the Scientist Webinar Series all work at the Centre for Health Research Methodology at the School of Nursing and Midwifery, University of Galway.

We lead various projects to help the public better understand healthcare and how science works. We are proud to have received funding from Reasearch Ireland (formerly Science Foundation Ireland) in 2024 to help boost the Meet the Scientist Webinar Series.

We work closely with primary school principals and teachers to ensure the series is relevant, engaging, and aligns well with the school's curriculum needs.

We are honoured to partner with the Education Support Centres of Ireland in developing and promoting this series.
